Our Story

At Bibik.sg, we believe that hiring a domestic helper should be a fair and positive experience for both families and helpers.

When our founder needed help caring for their young child and managing their home, they realized how challenging it was to find a reliable helper while navigating complicated agency processes.
At the same time, they saw how many helpers were burdened with high placement fees and unfair working conditions.

Determined to create a better solution, they founded Bibik.sg—an agency built on transparency, fairness, and care.

Today, Bibik.sg continues to help families find trusted helpers while ensuring that helpers are treated with dignity and respect, creating a balanced and ethical hiring experience for all.

How do agency debts of domestic helpers affect employers?

When Singapore families engage agencies to hire a domestic helper, they often discover that the new helper owes 2 to 8 months’ salary to their agency.

To proceed with the hiring, employers are required to sign an agreement to cover this debt as a loan.

This not only places domestic helpers in significant financial burden from the start but also creates challenges for employers.

Bound by the terms of the loan agreement, employers have limited flexibility and are often forced to continue working with the same agency—even if the hired helper is not the right fit.

This widespread practice is unfair to both employers and domestic helpers, making the hiring process more restrictive and financially burdensome.

Our Solution

We believed there was a better way to hire domestic helpers—that’s why Bibik.sg was created.

Unlike traditional agencies, we never charge fees to domestic helpers, ensuring a fair and transparent process that benefits everyone.

Singapore families gain peace of mind, knowing our focus is on providing excellent service and finding the right match for their needs.

Meanwhile, domestic helpers can work without the burden of recruitment debt—just as it should be.
